A message from Past Lt. Gov / Chartered President Rosalinda Fernando

Joining the Kiwanis Club of Las Piñas Our Home is one way of discovering who we are and why we are here on earth—our true purpose and reason for being. While purpose may vary depending on one’s perspective, our organization’s clear mission of helping the community has allowed us to experience personal fulfillment, satisfaction, and genuine happiness.

One of the realities in the life of our Club is taking action despite limited resources for projects and activities. Challenges will always be present, yet I remain deeply grateful for the unwavering support, talents, and commitment of our officers and members who continue to persevere despite these limitations.

The strong foundation of the Club is a testament to the dedication and hard work of its members, all striving together to achieve our shared goals. Past and present leaders alike have gone the extra mile to continue the Club’s mission of serving and uplifting the less fortunate members of our community.

One of the Club’s signature projects, initiated by our Past Lieutenant JP Valencia in partnership with Jonelta Foundation, is Butil Kaalaman, a program aimed at raising awareness and helping community members protect and improve their lives. Other meaningful initiatives include feeding programs, My First Teacher (reading literacy), mental health awareness programs, Christmas gift-giving activities, and many other worthwhile community projects.

I am truly thankful that the seeds planted during our chartering have steadily grown and borne fruit, enriching the lives of many people. Our Club has been blessed with officers and members who continue to pursue the vision of making the Club a preferred local organization committed to making the world a better, safer, and happier place—in our own little way.
